Box recommendations

Hi all,
looking to upgrade my box i Zegemma s2 at the moment.. got a 200 pound limit.. record not an issue.. want to be able to put a sky skin on and a quick EPG
Any recommendation on which box, can start from sratch myself as good with these things so just a default box will do as would like know how it all done.

You don't want to record but you have 2 tuners?
Depends what spec you are after really, 1 option would be an OpenVix image, you could head over to w0rld 0f s4atel1te, they sell all Vix supported units with a wide price and spec range, they will even send the unit with OpenVix pre-flashed.
Search the forum for Vix setup guides and sly skin and away you go

Well the 2s abit slow on the EPG when moving across.. just something i can put skyskin on.. recording is a bounes but cost more i believe

Yeh I know what you mean I have an old Zgemma star in my conservatory, its actually OK for what I need it for but I wouldn't want it in my front room lmao
Recording is possible with twin tuners yes, you may need to check with your line supplier to see if you can use both tuners at the same time.
Get yourself something with more processor power and you will enjoy it more, essentially if you are already running Vix on your Zgemma it will all look the same on your new box, dependant what skin you use of course

The Zgemma H.2S is a significant improvement in speed over the old 2S so if otherwise you're happy you'd be hard pushed to beat bang for buck and save a £100 of your budget for something more exiting than a tv box
