Box suggestion?

Hi, my mate is after a twin tuner satellite box which has a rf out on it so he can have the same channel on in his kitchen and summer house.

He already has it setup with sly. he said the fitting for it is the standard satellite type that you screw on. so i presume he means f type.

Could anyone recommend me a box that will do this?
i was going to use a zgemma 2s but obviously it doesnt have a rf out.

Would also need to be a linux box so i can put openvix on it etc....

would like the cheapest option please.

I don't think I have seen any sat box enigma 2 for a long time with an RF out. only seems to be the orginal slyHD with it.

Looks like the cheapest way to do what you are suggesting
is to go with an Xtrend ET8000 and use the scart socket at the back
to send the signal to the other room you will need an RF modulator

I have used one of these in the past



The other option would be to buy two cheap boxes like openbox V8, blade 5000, one for each room
and just move an external Hdd between the boxes for watching / recording.

Most servers now do multiroom so you would still only pay one sub and you have
two independent TV's

Ive set up my parents so that the xtrend 9500 twin tuner in the front room loop out on one of the tuners is used to feed an openbox in the kitchen

They are aware that if they are recording something they are not watching in the front room they cant use the openbox in the kitchen but that doesnt seem to bother them
