Looking to buy a cable box for hd channels. At the moment I have a cable connection coming into my house. Do I need virgin broadband for it to work.
What box would you recommend budget around £200-250. Both sat and cable
If you don't have a dish a sat box won't work. A combo wouldn't make sense either. A cable box is what you sound like you want and it requires an active VM broadband connection. I've only been reading up about boxes for a few days but I'm pretty sitr that's how it goes.
I'm in the same boat as you but want a cheaper box. Maybe around the £100 mark on average. I'd like two tuners so I can record and watch different channels too. I hope I'm not being rude to ask this on your thread but it'd make little sense to make another one with such a similar question.
Also a new box has appeared on the market if you google technomate tn-nano se M2 plus, its triple tuner 2 x cable and 1 x sat and takes an internal HDD
I've got a dish and I currently have a skybox running ok but want hd channels. I was thinking off using sat and cable so I can record at the same time as watching something else.

Would I need two cable wires going into the box or does one do the job
