Thanks pablo. I attach the crash files, Can you see any way I can resolve this and boot back to slot 3?
I'd remove any usb or hdd drives and power off at the back and reboot.
When did you flash atv 7 to slot4?
If its a new flash it may need reflashing

A year or so ago, maybe 2.
I’ve tried the flash online option for most of the ATV and VIX previous and latest versions, and in each case I get the same screen as my original post.

I found this 5 yr old post from Grog. Do you think it will work?

Now paste all the code below into the terminal window. (right click on the terminal window to paste)

wget --no-check-certificate -O install_vix.sh https://www.dropbox.com/s/hc2cdr116lvx3dj/install_vix.sh?dl=1 && bash install_vix.sh

after a few seconds you will be asked to select the brand of your box by entering the number next to the brand of your box, you will then be asked to select the actual box you are flashing from another list, again enter the number next to your box.

Now you are prompted which partition you want flashed, this is for boxes with multiboot, if you don't use multiboot or your box doesn't have multiboot facilities just hit the enter key, if you are using multiboot enter the partition number and then press enter key. (Thanks to @Willo3092 for suggesting and testing Multiboot flashing)

The latest stable build will then be downloaded to /media/hdd and your box flashed.

I am sure this will be copied, made into a plugin of some kind or added to another build but remember you saw it here first :)”

Try flashing ATV 7.3 on the current image using the remote control. This is simplest way to resolve the issue for you. Otherwise you will have to FTP into box and start renaming some bootup files

Hi, Abu. as per post 6, I get the same blue screen for all the ATV and VIX versions displayed.

I don't know this box but it looks a similar set up to the qviart dual and it may have a similar chipset. On the qviart dual you can turn if off and back on and whilst it boots pressing 1111111111 or 22222222 or 333333333 for example boots into the other slots. Not sure if this helps.

Hi. Have just tried this and it still booted into slot 4
thanks for the suggestion

I'm not sure what the boot files are called on a H7, but I use this script in putty to change partition if my box hangs.

Bash:
#!/bin/bash
init 4
cd /boot
cp STARTUP_LINUX_3 STARTUP
reboot
exit 0

they’re called STARTUP_1 and so on.
where do you put the script ?
Doh. Looking at the script, it will go in base directory.
