Can I watch local mkv files on my ET8500?

My new Xtrend box is due tomorrow and I'm wondering if I can watch files from my NAS drive in it?
i have an android box running kodi but wondered if a one box solution was possible?

My zgemma h2s plays my mkv files on my NAS perfectly, so i dont see why it wouldnt on the et8500

yea the h2s plays great

is the et8500 a enigma2 box then im sure it will

sure stick one on your usb drive to start with, just ftp it over

There is a DNLA player in plugins you can download this will access the NAS and you can play your stored files without having to use a USB stick or FTP them to your box, its not as fancy of Kodi but works
