antall

Newbie
i am trying to setup my h1 box but seem to be having problems.

i am flashing sucmnsee image and following the idiots guide.

i have inputted my line.

i have disabled tuner a and set up tuner b with cable area details.

when i go to scan for channels after a couple of minutes i get the message 'cannot read data'

any help much appreciated.

Have you the cable plugged in to RF in on tuner B? have you selected virgin as a provider, have you set your tuner B to scan virgin?

yes rf into tuner b.

does it go into tuner b RF in at the top OR RF out at the bottom......

In tuner config mine is set like this

Tuner type - DVB-C
Configuration mode - enabled
Network ID - Whatever yours is 00000
Used service scan type - provider
Provider to scan - Virgin Media UK (6952)

Run autobouquets maker then cross epg

hi mate ive changed it into rf in and when scanned it came up 333+ channels 30+ radio....

wen i exit nothing comes up and also no channel guide anymore.

Run autobouquets maker scan and then cross epg, did you do that?
Also press menu, set up, system, EPG, graphical epg settings, change show bouquets at launch to yes, then green to save. Exit all the way out and press EPG button

i did the abm scan.
exited and went into epg.
in epg would not let me change location to hard drive so left.
then went into croos epg. wen fin nothing had changed.

i am just goin to reflash from the beginning and hope i went wrong somewhere.

If it wont let you change to drive then its just a reboot needed, you need to select your local BBC NON HD channel as it wont go there automatically

wen i change tuner a to disabled it gives me option to delete. do i select yes or no?
then get an option top zap??

how do i select local bbc

yes tich that part is ok now and hdd is selected.

now in crossepg i get

'crossepg error: no DVB-S Nims found'

I use nothing connected, you can select yes or no, it don't matter if tour not going to use tuner A

did you make the changes to graphical EPG like I said, if so your local bbc channel will be in " all channels" or last scanned

DVB-S is the sat tuner
Do you have sly enabled in providers?

---------- Post Merged at 09:17 PM ----------

Once you get you local BBC as not many are free on cable, then run crossepg

all it says is 'service unavailable check tuner config'

---------- Post Merged at 09:26 PM ----------

how do i make virgin first??

change the option in the graph epg to no??

Make sure graphical epg launch bouquets is yes
It looks like you have sky configured, change the providers order and see

I ABM, they all should be no except virgin UK
did you change providers order, move virgin to the top and try???

---------- Post Merged at 09:33 PM ----------

Also in ABM, set Virgin FTA only to NO

sly is defo not enabled on tuner config.

in abm how do i move virgin above Kabel?
Kabel is selected no and if i change to yes it opens more options

Your in the wrong section, look at what I types above, its providers order not providers

menu, set up, service searching, autobouquets maker, providers order
