cant download new plugin softcam

i am attempting to download a new softcam via plugins on my box the xtrend et8000. the problem is when i clcik the green button to download new plugins it says
there has been an error and contact openvix.......

anyone know whats wrong and how to get round this,

In information, what Vix version are you on?

you may be using an older version of vix

I suspect so. If on 4.1.X will be reflash job, no restores but if 4.2.X then 'software update' to latest versions. Or do a settings/plugins backup in vix menu, couch flash(download and restore .26) and then restore settings/plugins if need be. Then it should work...
