Can't receive any HD channels

Hi, I am receiving FTA SD and FTA HD no problem.
But I am receiving movies, sports etc etc in only SD.
Why is this, I have spoken to a friend who pays less than £40 for a line and he receives everything in SD and HD.
Before you ask, yes it's a HD TV and a new Edison os mini box. I have rebooted wifi and box.

Please could anyone help ?
 
If your friend has a sat box he will not receive any $ channels like movies or sport in HD, they were blocked by sky a while back.

If your friend has a cable box it can recieve both SD and HD channels.

Hey bees!! Would you recommend getting a paid iptv server, I could surely watch all glorious HD channels then ?

Any recommendations and any guides to setting up iptv on box, as your box start up guide was pretty awesome
