CCcam and clines slowing internet

Hi

I thought I was all sorted and sitting back to enjoy my new viewing experience and by coincidence my Internet connection for everything in the house becomes all but unusable, web browser doesn't work at all. Well surprise surprise it wasn't a coincidence. If I disconnect my box from the network my Internet runs just fine.
I have a 20mb down and 1mb up line.
I have around 20-25 clines listed in my CCcam.cfg file.

Is it possible it is just one in the file is causing the problem?
Is it a good idea to have multiple clines or should you limit it?

As it is at the moment it leaves me with a choice of either broadband or TV, not a great choice when you have a house full of different opinions at different times.
 
Cant see point in having 20 lines must cost you a fortune 1 decent line is all thats needed

Still new to this so wasn't sure how many clines should be in there.
Without previous experience finding a decent server isnt that straight forward. They all claim to be the best and without a referral they could be as bad as what I'm using. Also some profess to haveing the HD channels but on another post in here I was told the HD channels aren't on. I suspect it would be frowned upon for someone to post a referral.
