CCcam issues.

Ever since the OpenATV updates messed about with the cams, my satellite viewing in unwatchable.

Using OpenATV 6.2 (and now 6.3) with WB infinity on my H2S, since the Ccam.cfg file moved from usr/keys to etc, any channels that need a line are constantly stuttering and cannot be viewed. I’ve used 3 different C lines from 3 different sources and they’re all the same!

Any views?

Just done a search and found @Abu Baniaz had done a tutorial on OpenATV Softcam feeds.

Followed it, and seems to be working as it should.

But I don’t understand why, when I already had the softcam CCcam.cfg file in etc folder, it was unwatchable.

It’s stuff like this I need to know.

Abu is the best on enigma 2 i have come across and is a mod on a few forums.

The version of CCcam on the OpenATV servers is patched for German channels. It freezes quite a lot for other countries.

Best to use oscam IMO

I used to use Oscam a few years ago before we lost Sky. I’ve forgot how to convert my line to Oscam. But I know there’s a guide somewhere on the forum.

Just use cccamtooscam convertor tool and put the results in oscam.server

Think that’s me sorted!

CCcam converted to Oscam, downloaded Oscam softcam plugin and ftp’d the details. 45mins viewing and not a single glitch.
