Change from USB Flash to HDD

Hi all

Loving my new ZGemma H2S, set it up last weekend using the Wooshbuild, just one word for it ....AWESOME. I used an 8Gb USB Drive as my initial recording drive for the rear usb, but now have found my 500Gb portable HDD. What format do I format the drive to FAT32, and then how best to go about changing it on the ZGemma box

Connect your hard drive up and go to menu - setup -system - storage devices - initialisation and format your drive there.
 
Just a quick follow up to this, i'm thinking of swapping the internal sd card in the box. When I bought the box it came with the sd card already installed and i believe the epg etc is already downloaded on this card. If i swap cards, will the system give it another id? Or can i literally take it out and copy the contents to another card?

The current card is 32gb but i want to swap it for an 8gb as all my recordings are on a 500gb hdd.
