Changing to cable from openbox

hi all

Due to the current problems with sky channels I'm now looking to ditch my openbox v8s and move to a cable box instead.

I'm not looking for recording features or multi room or sky feed etc just a basic box that is functional for viewing what would be recommended? Would like the HD channels also if possible.

Thanks for any recommendations, I had a look in threads but they all seemed to mention technical details as opposed to basic functionality!

You can get a single tuner for cable and add the vm line and your good to go, openbox are not the best for cable as you don't have a channel list update over the network. You can buy boxes preflashed with the image and you will need to do a couple of things yourself

could just get the basic zgemma lc model for roughly £55 or so
does just cable bit slow booting up compared to the h2h but does the job.
