Connect zgemma2 to sky with loop

Hi guys

we currently have a subscription to the basic sky package so the wife wants to keep that working untill it runs out.

i had an openbox connected with a line on it, I just connected the lib 2 too the one on openbox and connected the loop back to the sky lnb2 and it worked fine alongside sky.

i now have a Gemma and want the same setup but can't get it working.

i disconnected the openbox and connected the lnb2 too the tuner a in and connected the loop to loop out, but no joy!

the Gemma works ok but I have no signal on my sky box, I have tried various combinations but same results.

is there a menu option on the Gemma to turn loop on or something? As far as I see the problem, it's the signal back to the sky box that's the problem

its a twin tuner box

any ideas please?

Did you put the viewing card into the zgemma box

Did you leave the Zgemma in standby while you tried the official box or was it still switched on

There was no viewing card in the box.

i tried it with the box on standby but would lose signal on sky if I did, however it turns out that if I turn the Gemma off completely at the mains, sky will work as normal. Weird
