connecting a libertview v8 box to router via ethernet cable

hi guys sorry if this is covered elsewhere but i've just bought a libertview v8 box and have connected it to my password protected router.Is there an option to input my password? . As i cannot find it in the menu's, complete newbie at this sort of thing or do i not need the password as its connected via ethernet any help would be great thank you.

in your settings you have to select wifi settings then enter your password when the box connects to your router. however, sat boxes are not normally very good on wifi so I would suggest you get your self a set of homeplugs.

No p/w needed when hardwired via ethernet cable.

For a more stable connection use a wired connection from your router to your satbox.
