Differences between £200ish recievers

Hi guys,

After thinking about getting a openbox I am now thinking of upping my budget and choosing one of the following three receivers:

VU Solo2 Twin tuner
VU Duo Twin tuner
Miraclebox premium Twin

Just wondering what would be recommended?

Is the Solo2 a much better receiver with the faster processor and will I really notice a difference between the three?

I appreciate any help. Sorry for all the questions!
 
I went for a Technomate Nano 2 Super. It's coming today. Supposedly newer tech than the VU duo and at 179 a fair bit cheaper than a solo2!

The speed different you probably wouldn't notice .
Picture quality are all top notch on these boxes.

you made a good decision to not go for the openbox as they just do the job.
 
Bought it from world of satellite with vix pre installed. Can't wait to pick it up from work.

I'm a bit apprehensive as to getting it to work and stuff though.
 
I started with an Openbox - great place to test out what is going on.

I was looking at similar boxes to you - but throw the Gigablue Quad Plus into the mix as well.

I was pretty much sold on the Quad Plus until I spoke to World of Satellite. I ended up ordering the GI LX3 XPeed with a pre installed VIX image...
