dm500s stuck at boot logo?

hi does ne 1 no why sum times the dm500 sticks on boot logo and wont reboot only way ive found is to reflash with serial cable is ther a way to reboot without having to reflash box thanks

There is no other way to reflash the firmware on the Dreambox DM500(s) without having a RS232 cable..

This model has no USB ports so reflashing via USB isn't an option. Maybe the wrong firmware was installed on the Dreambox. This can cause it to freeze at boot.
