Hi all, is it worthwhile to change the ISP supplied DNS server within the router? does this give you a more stable and/or faster connection?
I have EE fibre and it is always coming up with "DNS lookup failed" or "error name not resolved".
It certainly stops your ISP tracking you :) - 8.8.8.8 is google DNS and pretty quick. You could also look into OpenDNS which can be configured to give you some extra benefits such as malicious content and URL Filtering.
