hello all posted a thread last week on another subject and im saving up for that said project but anyway ive been given a technomate tm 1500 c+ ireceiver i know its dated but my mate says it works i havent actually tried it but would i be able to use it as a second box with my sky dish i have sky+ downstairs and have a cable in bedroom ready for a box, i know its an ancient box but can i get normal channels when connected this way any or shall i bin it any help would be kind

Generally these boxes are for the FTA channels, as for this specific unit, the best way is to try it out. you wont get any of the premium channels, not without a subscription.

yes old box i have the tm 1000d older unit on a scart lead and 100hertz panny great picture ,handy having a fta only its free,imagine the cards would still work but not 100% sure.
