DREAMBOX DM500 - help?

Newbie
I know all about how to renew your $kybox (pretty simple/USB)

but how do I sort my dreambox out? The current gift I have for it is running out in two weeks but I have no idea how to get it renewed or how to do it myself. Seems more complicated?

cccam or mgcam installed on ur box if yes
get acess line fro some good server
if cccam was installed then follow below
connect dreambox with DCC and go to var/etc/ then press edit at CCcam.cfg and put ur acess cline or nline in it by pressing ctrl+v

if mgcam was installed then follow below
connect dreambox with DCC and go to usr/keys/newcamd.list then press edit at newcamd.list and put ur acess nline in it by pressing ctrl+v
on mgcam nline start with CWS = dns port id pass 010203...14


or 2nd easy way

open my computer type ftp:// ur box ip then put id pass and open var/etc/ and copy cccam.cfg to desktop open it in note pad and put acess line in it then again move that cccam.cfg to box were u copied and start cccam on box
same do with mgcam open usr/keys/newcamd.list copy to desktop put acess line and move back to box and start mgcam on box

by default dreambox id root by default password is dreambox

Any step by step instructions? I'm a complete noob. When I connect the dreambox to my computer what software do I use?
