DVB-C Tuner Card

Can anyone point me in the direction of any details about using a DVB-C PCIe tuner card in a pc and setting up my line.

Can i use any old usb/pcie dvb-c or do i need specific hardware / software to get everything working?

Or is it just best to go down iptv route as i only want bt sport & box nation

I bought a DVBSky T330 DVB-T2/T/C USB Stick off aliexpress for around €20 and haven't had a problem with it yet. With mediaportal as the backend and kodi as the frontend and all is good. I also have one of their pcie cards for a while now for satellite channels DVBSky S952 Dual DVB-S/S2 PCIe (V3).

I was wondering about the USB sticks and whether they were any good, need to do some research on mediaportal and kodi then......I still might just bite the bullet and buy another cheap enigma 2 box, i only want the Moto gp and refuse to pay nearly £30 per month for the odd time I get chance to watch a race, tried switching broadband to get the necessary channel free but no ports left on my local cabinet so I did try to be a good boy
