Error a background check is in progress

Hi, When i do a software update on my openvix Zgemma H2s I get a message saying,

Error a background check is in progress. Please wait a few minutes and try again.

The thing is the message stays on screen and exit doesn't remove it, only a reboot does.

How can I fix this and get the box to update?

I've reflashed with Wooshbuild. It's brilliant.
