et7500 no signal both tuners

Hi wonder if this is a hardware problem. My box was locked up and had to reboot. It froze again. I flashed with a later version of vix and went through the setup. When iTried to do manual scan both sat tuners showed nothing to scan, no signal. I am running it as a one sat box (not motorized) and set both tuners up as simple. i tried everything around the 28.2 for Astra and all say the same. I pulled my old sky plus out of the shed and connected up and it worked fine, not the best signal strength but I'm in Spain so very respectable. I've since flashed again using an older vix version but same results. Beginning to think a new box is in order. Any advice will be well received as I'm a newby at 71 if thats possible.

Do you have autobouquetMaker setup under the tuners configured to 28.2.Need a big dish depending on your sat footprint.

No i haven't set the autobouquet yet. the dish I have is 1.8mtr prime focus with invacom c120 lnb. My sky box shows around 50% signal strength and about 30% signal quality. Good picture on all received channels.

Your box will run iptv ok if you cannot get the signal working
