ITV will launch its new pay-per-view service ITV Box Office in February 2017 with the IBO World Super Middleweight Title bout between Chris Eubank Jnr, Britain’s number one middleweight, and Renold Quinlan, holder of the IBO World Super Middleweight Title.
The fight will cost £12.95 to watch, but an early bird price of £9.95 (€12.95 in Ireland) is currently available to viewers registering to watch the fight. Registration started on 20th January 2017.
How to watch and how to register
There are three ways of watching: via Sky (HD), Virgin Media TiVo or online.
Sky:
ITV Box Office is available on Sky channel 493 as an HD-only channel for viewers with Sky HD or Sky Q boxes.
(Also available to Sky HD/Sky Q homes in the Republic of Ireland.)
Viewers will need to visit the ITV Box Office website to register.
Virgin Media:
ITV Box Office will be available to customers with a Virgin Media TiVo box.
Virgin Media TiVo customers will be able to buy access to the event after 30th January 2017 via their TiVo box.
Online:
A live stream will be available online. See the ITV Box Office website for more information and to register.
ITV Box Office joins a growing number of ITV services available behind a paywall, including ITV Encore and HD versions of ITV's offshoot channels, as the broadcaster diversifies away from traditional linear free-to-air channels.
To support ITV's new pay-per-view venture, free-to-air channel ITV4 will dedicate an evening of boxing and will feature the undercard on the night of the Eubank Jnr v Quinlan fight.
