Manually software updated sky hd box and channels not showing

Hi. Hoping someone can help.
I purchased a second hand Sky HD box which was working fine except that some HD channels were missing such as ITV HD.

I thought I would do a software update which may help. I've completed the software update but now none of the channels are showing.

Its saying sky box isn't receiving a satellite signal and also searching for listings.

Any help will be greatly appreciated

Are you are talking genuine Sky box .Do you have a Sky subscription card Inserted. Check your dish. Failing that Sky are the only people that can help you with that.

Missing or not working

Maybe they are on a frequency that you cannot receive. Check f-plugs, LNB damage, wiring damage, alignment issues.
