Firmware thoughts

Blade box just landed whats ya thoughts on the best firmware the old may version or the newer October 1? Cheers Greg

Just go with one with the 9991 option, my friend is running the Oct version
with no issues,I think that's the latest one, I only update firmware if a box develops viewing problems.

Just make sure you don't use Combo firmware on a normal blade

Combo can do cable and sat.

But nobody does cable subs lol

I've got a Combo but it's not worth paying the extra, just go for a standard
blade, they are very good boxes.

I've got the 7000s bees has helped me set it all up I'm really happy with it and wish I'd done it ages ago, thanks again bees!

Also have the Combo, good box works well on Sat/Cable, if Sat goes down there's always cable which IMO the subs will be more open than they now.

i am currently running the Jan 2013 firmware, is that the latest patched version?

Notice on one of the Sat sites a server is now out in the open doing cable lines, first of many possibly.
