its to let you know of a new software update ,however there maybe a bug with the blue sky vix and is been looked at,red flashing light means unstable and not to use.hold off updating.
just to add to this some images need a manual flash as a image might have had a rebuild so dont use restore settings.
mage sure you use filezilla to copy your line details to pc first and when needed send back.
