freezing all the time

hi can some one please tell me why my box has started to freeze on sly channels
and why it dosent stay conneted to the net like it use to
is it that the image is old or is it my bt infinity
i am using openvix
broad band speed is 76mb download and 15 upload thanks
 
Question for others, how frequent are your glitches during popular events (f1 and EPL) and how long does your freeze typically last ?
