getting event info failed

Hi,

I got my new H.2S yesterday with the whooshbuild 2.5 on it

i got an error "getting event info failed" and then the i could no longer see any of the tv channels

i upgraded it to the latest whooshbuild and it was working fine for a few hours but i now get the same error again

has anyone else encountered this and is there a workaround / fix for it

Event info sounds like a timer (series link ) to me. When did this happen ? Or when does it happen?

Check in Menu -> Setup -> Timers -> Auto timers and see if there is anything in there? Or just timers and delete anything in there.

I am sure after the NCIS incident there is nothing in the timers from the build, but worth a check as if there is anything there they will have been bought across by a settings backup.

thanks for the reply

I re-installed v3 (hey i'm geting real quick at that now LOL)

like you i think it is a timer thing - it deffo occured for me each time i had set auto timers. i have checked all my timers now and deleted them all and i am currently selecting each episode to record individually (ie not using any auto timers).

hopefully it does not re-occur but, if it does, i will delete all timers and see if it fixes it and update in here
