Hanging paper and avoiding bubbles

Just giving some advice on the best way to avoid bubbles when wallpapering.

When you have pasted your paper, fold over on itself and leave for at least 5 minutes (longer wont harm) before attempting to hang.

Providing you start smoothing with brush from the centre you should have bubble free walls!

Also leaving it to long paper will dry out, causing air bubbles

Best tip dont use brush to apply paste, Use a roller

i did not know i always paste fired on wall and 20min trying to get bubble out in the end walls all plastered and just paint now

Yeh, roller is good - much quicker too!

i think so as well but the woman wants me to put up new wall paper as she thinks its plain looking i dont want to spoil my smooth walls

she was looking at doing one wall with the american sky line with old towers in it at night u snd picture to this company and measurements of wall and they send wallpaper out i said iam telecomms engineer not painter and decorator dont want to try
