Hi all,


Im kinda new to this site, but i have 20yrs experience of installing sat/tv systems...

With the loss of hd, i have been expermenting with an idea...

Basically i want to get in touch with a server expert..

The idea invloves using the hdmi/io/rf outputs...

I have got as far as i can..Need help!!
 
at a guess you want to send a hdmi signal from one source around house but rf is old skool,technicians use hdmi over cat5 lan cable as its cheaper.
 
rf will be for audio..forgot about cat6 etc..nothing to do with that..i install multiple hd source over cat6 etc..its on the techy server port forwarding dns etc that i struggle with..as said previously i just wanna have a chat with server expert..
 
Thanks cacti..but i already know all that.. i also install cctv over dns to iphone etc..sorry if mislead..i can do basic port forwarding etc..but my idea requires more indepth knowledge..maybe you could point me to someone..thanks for feedback
