help autobouquetsmaker i get failed to tune

Menu, setup, service searching, AutoBouquetsMaker update providers then start scan.

Still get the same message, failed to tune to tuner B..
you have any idea what I’m doing wrong? Tried a few times

So did update providers say virgin UK didn't need updating or did you get an error?

perform a manual scan in service searching before anything else
choose 'complete' instead of 'predefined transponder'
then run a scan in ABM

Says incompatible versions 2.8>3.1

Download the version for your box.


Ftp the ipk to tmp

To install the ipk

Telnet command

opkg install -force-overwrite /tmp/*.ipk


Installing via the box

Openatv

Menu... setup... software management... install local extension memory/tmp Press ok on the package press green to install.

OpenVIX
Menu > setup > VIX > Iplkg install or install local extentions then ipk installer memory/tmp Press ok on the package press green to install.

Reboot box.

Once installed and rebooted goto AutoBouquetsMaker and update config files or providers then start scan.

If old abm is on box does that mean box is on an old image and might need updating to a later image more up to date?

Possibly but you should still be able to use updated ipk.

Yes agreed but maybe less issues with a newer image as some time a new image has to be done.

Not relevant. No need to update image. It is a plugin.
