Help with card sharing system

Hi I have joined this forum today as I would like to install a FTA system @ home . Can any one please help me with the following Points

(1) I am in a very poor broadband Area 3mps Down & 0.03mps up can you recomend a box. I have been looking @ an openbox X5

(2) How do I install the equipment & setup for card share

(3) A card share server & setup

thanks for your quick responce, I am a pensioner new to this tech and just exploring. I have not decided to go down this route as yet, but I am trying to ascertain all the options, I have given notice to quit sky in the hope I could get a reduction but I now have a letter saying my screen will go blue on 25 jan. card sharing is one path I been trying to research and was given to understand that for this I require an internet connection hence my internet speeds I would like to know if I can record off this system like my sky+ box

Hi, annester, If I where you I would go for an F3 ,4, or 5 box.
Have a look in that section, they are cheap and easy to setup.

They are about £55 -65, you would then need a server.

You can also buy them with a "gift"
For about £120 - 150 which means they are already set up
for you for 12 months.

I am not sure about your internet speed so this is why i
am suggesting a cheap box to see if it runs ok.

If it works fine you could always sell it on and upgrade.


If you want to record then buy a USB external HDD for about £40.
