Help with Octagon SF4008

After a little help please
I've had the above box and have 2x cable line and one sat

I seem to be loosing channel, they are there but just blank when you select them I thought this may be an issue with the autobouquetsmaker so tried to doc an update but the screen just crashes, loads of white text comes of the screen and it restarts after 10 seconds.

Also when I do do a scan it never brings back an cable channels although I have hundreds but it does bring back over 900 sky channels, has anyone else experienced this?

I am running the latest version of the Willo Vix build

Hi mate, it's sounds more like a problem with the image, try using a bare version of
Vix without skins and other bells and whistles and see if it still crashes.

If it's stable put your Willo image back on and check if it starts crashing again,
it might not necessary be a problem with the build itself it may have just been a bad flash, but that
will point you in the right direction of where the problem lies.
 
Thanks Bees, I've been running this build since new when I got the box 2 months back with not issue. Is it normal to just loose channels? For example I have channel 4 but not channel 4 +1?
 
any vix images are got from source and remember to copy your line details and cfg file to desktop folder first so when flashed can be sent back again.

box should not loose channels ,how many come on a scan 960+ should be on 28.2
