Hi all

Tech question about home audio....

I've purchased a pair of Bose 151 outdoor speakers for the back garden. I want to hook these up to a cheap (primark cheap) receiver that offers bluetooth connectivity (macbook, iPhone, iPad compatible). I will hardly be using them and the receiver will just be on the shed.

I have no idea so any help possible.

I was advised to purchase a yamaha rsn500 but as ill only be powering two outdoor speakers I don't see the need.

you can use just about any conventional amp to power the speakers..
if you want to use a amp with wireless capabilities then get one that can do that to stream from another wireless device no matter what you use its the amp thats important Bluetooth is no good for what you want due to the distance limitation unless your happy to be up and down to change music etc ..you want to be able to sit in the garden and control music from ipad or iphone or any wireless device so thats the way to go.
