Hotbird trial - help needed please

Hi there!

I'm currently have my dish pointed at sky UK 28.2° but would like to see if I could point it at hotbird 13°.

I have a zgemma h2s receiver. My dish is the usual sky mini.

My location is Lincolnshire, East England UK.

I've downloaded satellite director app from the Google store to aid dish alignment.

How do I tune hotbird channels into my receiver? Is there a channel list that I can download?

Any help much appreciated.

if you move your dish you will lose 28.2 services,i have a spare sat dish pointed to 13 and scanned, many can be got with a line, motorised users can add lists for many sats at once to have your channels.

I'm just interested to see if I can pick up hotbird using my sky mini dish and zgemma box. If I can I'll install a separate dish.

You need an 80cm or 90cm at your location and unless you are fluent in arabic or polish, or a budding porn addict then hotbird is not worth playing with.
Without an official box/card you will get a lot of blank screen [not bad if you are blind lol]

Would a 60 cm dish suffice if only using it to point to hotbird 13 degrees?
