How does this app work?

I've been using this app lately:

I've got my H2H running on a single cable input, however by using this, it manages to stream another channel to my device, while a different channel is being watched on the box.

How does this work if I'm only using a single tuner? Just curious, thanks.

I have the same setup as you, when I use the app I can only watch the channel thats on the zgemma.

If I then change channel through the app it changes the channel on the zgemma.

Sorry to be slightly off topic, but does this app work outside of your home network?

Not tried it myself but I would assume if you setup the port forwarding to the ip address of your Zgemma, in thory it should work

I think it has to do with the channels that are on the same transponder, if they are then the channels will be highlighted on the box and the app and you would be able to watch from the same tuner the channels that match with same transponder.
