how to install new image

hi i have a dreambox dm500s and the the image is frozen what do i do?

you need to download dreamup to flash dm500 and nullmodem cable turn the box off at the back press connect in dreamup switch box on and load your image

after you have flashed a new image and have it working back the image up
then if you have a problem you have a working image for reflash

I allways flash erase several times before flashing new image

is it possible to save image from a working mage on another dream,and flash onto another dream?

yes it is possible to back up an image from one dm 500 and flash the back up image to another dm 500

I put a image on a dm 500 get it all set up with bouquets and cccam (i use 2.13 )

at this point I don't put any c-lines in cccam cfg file save the back up image to pc
then put c-line in the box I saved the image from

then any other dm 500 I can flash with a working backed up image (just adding c-line if needed )

I fogot to say you can back up an image with c-line in and working as a back up if things go wrong

or you want to try another image you have a working image back up
