how to use dreambox edit 4 enigma2 boxes

Ok this is a Guide on how to use Dreambox edit i have done ift may help you put you list in order
it should be the same for any enigma2 box ie dreambox/vu+/Zgemma-Star/Cloud Ibox/ and so on
idle if you have a motorised satellite dish and want to sort out your channel list


OK run dreambox edit go to Tools/ options/profiles add your ip address
then save.



double click on test ip connection if all is ok
you will see this info press ok



now go to General and set the path where you are going to put the channel list.
now save and close the settings



IF you have done a sat scan and want to arrange the list or add favs names
double click on transfer a file set between pc and dreambox 3rd button along



now click on receive files from dreambox
you may see this info press yes



when the channel list has loaded you will be able to add fav folders
/or rename them /put thim in order and drag and drop channels in to them



right click where red box is to add forlders/rename them



when done press save


to resend list to box

go to file open .


select directory to find the folder that has you channel list in then press ok



now its time to send the list to your box click on 3rd button along then double click on
send files to dreambox

why not just run auto boquets,it will scan and create your channel list for you

why because auto boquets does not scan and create boquets for all satellites so if you have a motorised satellite dish
it comes in handy
and some people just like to do they on channel list

Because that's all the fun, binnning off the crap channels, personalising your bouquets etc
