Image Backup OpenATV 6.1 Help

Hi guys, just like to start by saying thanks to all involved with the AD and no sound fix.

I am trying to backup my image but it dont seem to be working.

Says it is complete but when i connect my HDD to my laptop it dont show anything.

USB is a no go - just shows and error.

Any idea why?
 
If you've initialised the HDD, it will be in Linux Ext format and Windows can't read it.
You shouldn't really be unplugging the HDD from the box, connect to it via FTP or the windows network.
 
Also i preferred my ipab sky skin. Do you know where i can find it or copy it from as my downstairs box has not been updated yet.
 
I have just backed it up to USB. It shows an error when you choose USB but instead of choosing USB choose HDD.

Just checked it and the Backup is fine.

I had one as it's very easy to do so never tried without. Just open Notepad make a file and call it that. save it to the USB.

USB is just a normal format FAT 32, not one you have used on the box for Recordings etc.
