Info on network requirements for CS

Still trying to get to grips with all this.

Is a fast network connection necessary, I would have thought there was very little going back and forward over the internet?

Is it reasonable or easy to get connected to a server that is nigh on 100% stable?

no mate all networks will do it not much traffic recieve only
