Install new build or skin

Hi just got a Zgemma H2H all set up and working with sky and virgin, i would like to try new builds and skins, do i need to backup anything before trying a new build or skin.
If i need to backup what do i backup and how.
Thanks for any help.
 
YES you need to back up your line(s).

FTP onto the zgemma.
go to usr/keys/newcamd.list copy and paste whatever is in there.

No newcamd.list file?

go to etc/CCcam.cfg and back up whatever is in there. once you have a backed up you can feel free to try different images

Tip: open the newcamd.list and/or CCcam.cfg files in notepad.
 
newcamd.list is a file used to store n lines in a "cws = " format.
cccam.cfg is a file used to store c lines "C: " and n lines "N: "
Yours will be stored in one of them files.
