Could this be the start of the end of this ageing satellite

It is more or less at the end of lifetime. It is somewhat depending, on how long it can be operated in inclined orbit and how long customers can be found to accept an aging satellite, which is likely to fail without warning anytimes. It will likely be retired, when a minimum amount of fuel is reached, which is required to put it into graveyard orbit.
