I have one of these plugs for my bedroom upstairs for IPTV https://www.harveynorman.ie/computi...rs/tp-link-ac750-wi-fi-range-extender-en.html. There is a MAG box downstairs with IPTV also. The iptv downstairs keeps going off and then come back on. Although I am with a different provider upstairs, would that interfere with the one downstairs? I am kinda thinking that it is interfering with the one downstairs?

Either downstairs iptv sub is crap, or maybe not enough bandwidth for 2 iptv at same time?

If your Ethernet from your router is connected to the MAG it should default to lan. Not familiar with these boxes but see if you can turn Wi-Fi off on it.

does this happen All the time or just when football is on if so vpn may be needed for that provider but because it is magbox you would need router that supports a vpn

It only happened 2 weeks ago. Ever since then, it was fine

Sub or VPN then, I’d say.

Is it doing it randomly or is when channel is changed

Just swap the boxes around so the off/on one is upstairs and see if the other one does it downstairs.
This will tell you whether it's the sub or the connection.
I can't really see it being the connection because if ethernet goes off, WiFi won't be operational upstairs
