hi, my mum's kindle keeps on going off even though there is battery life left in it and it happens a lot. amazon are being cocks about the problem and trying to sell her a refurbished kindle for just a little cheaper than a brand new kindle but she has to return her current kindle also. The kindle is just over a year old so just outwith warranty.
does anyone know if there is a way of replacing the battery and how much it would cost, or if someone has any ideas as to what may be causing power to go of (if not the battery) i figured it must be the battery but does anyone know if the problem could be caused by anything else and have any suggestion of things i could try to help fix the problem.
