Konig catv signal amplifier

Can anyone tell me what the setup is for these?

I have 1 wire coming in, 2 zgemmas h.2h to feed with a 4 port amp

Ive been advised that the router cannot be plugged into this, so how do i go about it?

I have the lead coming in to a 2 way splitter.
One lead out of the splitter to the modem, the other to the amp.

Hi
It hasn't arrived yet, but once connected what do i need to do? Been looking around and the PDF file on it, doesn't really explain much. Do i just plug it in and away we go, or do i need adjustment?
Your help would be much appreciated
