Line not connecting

I have followed all the instructions for setting up a BM5000s, but the line is not connecting. This is the second 5000 I have set up and the first worked perfectly. The line has been checked on another box and is fine. I am able to get the N-Line set up menu and entered all the details several times, but the check box stays obstinately yellow and not green as it should be. I even tried a factory reset and went through the whole process again. I have FTA channels ok. Any ideas, because I do not know what to try next?

Probably an internet connection problem, or a typo when entering the line.

Are you using WiFi, homeplugs, direct ethernet ?

Can you access youtube/youporn, that should tell you
if the box is connecting to the net.

You could also try entering the line by USB method
that eliminates another problem.

Thanks Bees for your suggestions. It is a direct Ethernet connection and the line is ok because I tried it on another box. Good idea about the Youtube option, just to check the internet connection. I will try it tomorrow and report back. Another possibility is that I have so many files on my flash drive, I might have been using the wrong .ssu file. I will download them again and try that.

If you've got the 9991 option then the .ssu file shouldn't be the issue. Like bees said its either a typo or your network settings.

Sometimes the solution is very simple! I must have typed the server name in half a dozen times before I realised I had put .com instead of .org. All working now and thanks for your help guys.
