Cable Line Not Working...

Nokmond

Newbie
Hi all, I've tried several builds, back on dsayers now but I can't get the line to work. I know it's definitely active but tried for 3 days now and nothing.

I've entered the CWS etc in newcamd.list, restarted mgcamd, network test shows green ticks, everything seems fine but no joy. I've set up a few h2h in the past and this is the only time I've had trouble getting up and running.

Anyone got any ideas? Thanks!

Send a mg_cfg file over aswell with your line.

Phone wouldn't let me attach file but here it is :

Line is :

CWS = txxxxe 57432 xxxx xxxx 01 02 03 04 05 06 07 08 09 10 11 12 13 14

Are you shore the line is still running?

If cam is active then you should see the line info on second infobar.
Yes checked with provider and line is brand new and active. Used him before with no problems.

Tried changing (G) to 33 as well but still nothing.

I'll just add, I had 2 test lines from different providers and couldn't get either to work so definitely a problem with my box and connecting to servers.

I would try a test line to rule out cam issues. So have ypu setup abm correctly to scan your network id?
Just wrote there, I had 2 different test lines and neither worked so definitely something up at my end. Abm all set up correctly, I get the basic 5 fta virgin channels, area 10,teeside etc. Could area have changed maybe, or is the fact I get bbc1 mean it's OK?

Tried the mg_cfg file from downloads? Try CCcam to rule out mgcamd. Same port no works 9/10 times...

When changing from newcamd.list to CCcam.cfg you need to change CWS = to N:

Most work fine but some lines don't work like that and needs port changing to another number your provider would be best to ask about that
