Live TV on XBMC/Kodi

Guys, what are the best apps to use on Kodi/XBMC in order to watch live TV?

Istream has some IPTV links built in and refreshes them each time it boots up.

Phoenix has live TV inside "woody" and "Crusader" for international TV
i-stream works well also.

im just in the process of downloading kodi/ xbmc for my laptop and dont really know anything about this. do i need to download apps seperately for this or does it come with apps. also i mainly want this to watch footbal matches so is there certain apps that are mainly sports channels and can anone recommend which apps or sites are the best for football thanks.

managed to download kodi no problems and got it working but not sure about how to add add ons and where to get new add ons for it. anyone recomend a good add on for sky sports and bt sports etc. thanks and sorry i dont know anything about this software. even if there is some good sites or articles to help me understand how to work this also, would be appreciated
