LNB problem ?

Recently I've started losing some Freeview HD channels when my Sat Box is switched on - this happens with both my VU+ Zero and Skybox F5. The cables for my satellite & TV aerial both come into the same wall socket.

When the sat box is switched on I immediately lose the channels but they come straight back when I put the sat box in standy or switch LNB power to off.

Could this be a dodgy LNB I wonder?

Any help would be appreciated.

I can't make out from your post whether you have 3 satellite receivers (sat box, VU+, & F5), or whether you lose channels on 1 or the other, or both, if you just have the VU+ & F5 boxes.

Do all of your boxes have their own connection to a port on the LNB (you are not using any splitters are you?).

If the channels you lose are all on vertical transponders, you may need the "no signal fix" from Ebay.
