Local network disconnected

Hi I have a zgemma hs2 box which I recently flashed with ipab.

I have done a neywork test but it has the following errors.

Local network disconnected

Ip address unconfirmed

Nameserver unconfirmed

Also on the previous menu the link button is red

Does anyone have any ideas how I can solve this problem

Thanks mark

Try restarting your box and your router. Make sure dhcp is set to on in network settings.
If that doesn’t work set dhcp to off and insert your own ip.

Hi guys,

Hoping somebody can help. I have done all of the above.

I recently updated to wooshbuild v7, flashed as normal but now I cannot get an IP address for my box or name server. I have tried everything. Switched dhcp off and set another ip up. Nothing seems to be working.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks.

if you turn DHCP off you have to manually enter your gateway and nameserver

Thanks for the swift reply,

Is the gateway address the box ip and the nameserver my router ip?
Your gateway may be slightly different if your on VM or sly

Thanks again.
One is probably 255.255.255.0
The other is your router IP
I can't remember which way round,

Set your Box ip address to within your router ip range.
Gateway address is your router ip.
Netmask is nearly always 255.255.255.0
I prefer to set my dns to 8.8.8.8
Secondary dns to 8.8.4.4

Thanks guys. Tried both suggestions. ip still unconfirmed. Box is hardwired to router. Rebooted router and box with same results.

I would suggest reflashing your router as sometimes you get little corruptions in the flash.
Might be worth a try.
Send me the screenshoe first.

Ok will do. I have factory reset both the router and the zgemma numerous times with same results. Router shows the connectivity to zgemma, zgemma states that it is connected to lan but no ip address or nameserver.

Bit of extra Information: I recently tried the digibit vpn with the open vpn l files which algered my ip address. The zgemma was not the same after this.
